Reigning Moto3 World Championship winning team, Red Bull KTM Ajo, will add Australian rider Jack Miller to their ranks for 2014. Team Manager, Aki Ajo, and the rider signed a deal on Thursday evening at the Misano Marco Simoncelli Circuit, confirming the addition of Miller to the squad for next season.

2014 will be the 18 year-old’s third season in the World Championship. Born in Townsville –Queensland– in 1995, Miller made his Grand Prix debut in mid-2011 and has taken an important step forward this year, fighting amongst the leading group and currently lying seventh in the overall standings after 11 rounds. These results and his development as a rider have convinced Red Bull KTM Ajo that he will be a successful incorporation to the team for 2014.

Aki Ajo – Team Manager
“We know how important it is to maintain our focus on the fight for the 2013 Moto3 title, but obviously at this stage of the season it is normal to be preparing things for the next campaign. We are very happy to have signed Jack Miller to ride for us next season. I think that everyone has seen that he is one of the biggest talents for the future in the World Championship. We are very proud to have Jack as one of Red Bull KTM Ajo’s riders for 2014.”

Jack Miller – Moto3 rider
“I am very happy to have signed for what is, in my opinion, the best team in Moto3: Red Bull KTM Ajo. Joining this team will give me the opportunity to fight for the Moto3 title next season. I can’t wait to get started with this new adventure in my sporting career, and I am sure that there will be a good relationship developed with my new team –one which already exists.”
