This Monday and Tuesday, Red Bull KTM Ajo undertook two days of testing at Valencia. This followed on from a previous test at Jerez at the end of last week, and riders Brad Binder and Bo Bendsneyder enjoyed another two excellent days of work. The pair drew positive conclusions about the improvements provided by KTM for next season.

In excellent weather conditions at the Comunitat Valenciana Circuit, similar to those at the last round of the World Championship, Binder and  Bendsneyder continued the work begun last week. With different work plans, the South African rode only on Tuesday, focusing on the setups he had previously used at the Jerez test. Bendsneyder used both days to continue his adaptation to his new KTM machine, completing a total of 151 laps and riding close to the fastest lap times.

Red Bull KTM Ajo’s 2015 ends today, and the pair will not be back riding again until February of 2016.

Brad Binder,
“Today we went out with the base setup with which we finished the Jerez test, which featured new upgrades that worked so well. Overall, the day went quite well. Although throughout the day we have tried out things that have not been as good as expected, at the end of the day we were back feeling very comfortable and riding fast. The lap times were very good and I managed to go faster than I had in the entire GP weekend as well, which is very positive. I feel confident and at ease. I will travel to South Africa tomorrow and get some rest before working hard on my fitness.”

Bo Bendsneyder,
“These two days of testing went very well, despite me being a little sick. Monday was a little more difficult because I was riding at a new circuit, with a bike that is practically new to me. However, today we improved a lot with both the setup and my lap times. We must continue working and improving, because we have plenty of room to do so -especially with new tyres.

I’m very happy with how 2015 has ended, because I was able to put in a lot of laps and, step-by-step, I feel more comfortable and faster. Now I am going to focus on school, supermoto and fitness training.”
