“After a bad race in Qatar, it was very important to get a result like the victory last Sunday in Argentina. I felt very comfortable and fast in all conditions and this allowed me to approach the race with confidence. We needed that win to feel that we can be as competitive as last year again. Now is the time to have that dynamic. We will travel directly to the Circuit of the Americas, without a rest in between. Last year I took my first podium of the year there. It’s a very nice track and I think it is also a fairly good circuit for me, but I know it is also a favourite for some of the other riders and it will be a weekend in which we have to work very hard. The goal, as always, should be to compete for the win.”
