The Red Bull KTM Ajo team earned a quarter-century of intermediate class rostrums this past weekend, thanks to a win for Brad Binder in Australia.

The Red Bull KTM Ajo team took part in their 34th race in Moto2 last weekend at Phillip Island, and reached a significant milestone in the process. Brad Binder’s win meant that the team now have 25 podiums in the intermediate class, from just two seasons.

The combination of Red Bull KTM Ajo structure, KTM, Miguel Oliveira and Brad Binder have been together since day one, coming together in 2017 to expand upon the brilliant work done by the team in the Moto3 class -in which they have two World Championship titles. The results for the new project were immediate, with Oliveira taking their first podium at Round 2 of the season in Argentina. Both riders continued to accumulate successful placings thanks to the great development of their KTM Moto2 bike, with one of the highlights coming when Oliveira won the 2017 Australian GP.

A year later, at the same venue, Binder achieved the win. With it came podium number 25 for the team, consisting of 8 victories, 8 second places and another 9 third places.

These magnificent results have allowed Oliveira to finish third in the overall standings in 2017, after finishing the campaign with 3 consecutive wins. In 2018, the Portuguese is fighting for the title, Binder is third with three wins to his name, and Red Bull KTM Ajo are the current leaders of the team standings.
