After three days of intense work at the Losail International Circuit, Raul Fernandez and Kaito Toba are ready for the first race of the year.

2020 preseason came to an end for Red Bull KTM Ajo Moto3 on Sunday in Qatar, as they contested the final day of the Official Test at the Losail International Circuit. Raul Fernandez and Kaito Toba completed an intense workplan during the three days of activity this weekend, putting in 144 and 121 laps, respectively. The Spaniard placed 10th, with the Japanese rider in 14th position on the combined timesheets.

The last day of the Official Test allowed Fernandez to confirm all the data collected throughout the preseason. On Sunday he completed a total of 40 laps and clocked the 7th best time of the day, 2:05.833. Satisfied with the work done during the winter, Raul managed to be competitive with both hard and soft tyre compounds.

Toba kept progressing constantly throughout the test, and set his fastest lap of 2:06.111 on Sunday, to place 11th for the day. His 30 laps today were important for getting further acquainted with his new KTM machine and increasing both his comfort and his confidence.

Following the Official Test, the two Red Bull KTM Ajo Moto3 riders will get the season underway at the Losail International Circuit from March 6th-8th.
