The Japanese rider represents Red Bull KTM Ajo Moto3 team in a new edition of the eSports competition, finishing in 7th position.

Red Bull KTM Ajo Moto3 got back on virtual track this Sunday with Kaito Toba making his eSports race debut on the mighty Silverstone Circuit, in a contest that featured close lap times and great competitiveness. The Japanese rider managed to stay focused despite suffering a though start, taking his online KTM bike to seventh in the Virtual British Grand Prix.

Kaito Toba started on the second row of the grid, thanks to his showing in a qualifying session held just minutes before the online event began. In 6-lap race with 10 participants, the Red Bull KTM Ajo rider pushed hard from the start. Despite having a good pace, two crashes early on hindered his progress. Finally, the Japanese completed his eSports debut outing in seventh place.

“It has been a very fun experience. We had a tight race, since it was only six laps and, from the beginning, we all pushed our hardest. The result was not what we hoped for, but I really liked participating in the Virtual British GP, because the MotoGP video game allows you to try things that you can’t really do in real life. I hope that motorcycle racing fans enjoyed today’s show and had fun with us.”
