17/08/2022

Jaume Masia and Dani Holgado will compete at the Red Bull Ring in the 13th round of the season.

Jaume Masia arrives in Austria ready to repeat a good result after the podium at Silverstone. Dani Holgado faces the Grand Prix with the aim of continuing to progress and fight for the top positions.

Masia had one of his best races of the season, after taking part in Q1 and starting from twenty-first position on the grid. The Red Bull KTM Ajo Moto3 rider climbed up the order to reach the front group and fight for the win. He placed second for his fifth podium of the season. He is currently fourth in the overall standings with 127 points.

Holgado made progress on his first appearance at Silverstone. He went directly into Q2 and started the British GP from twelfth. After gaining several positions, the Red Bull KTM Ajo Moto3 remained in the group and ran a strong pace in the fight for the Top 10, until a mechanical issue on the penultimate lap prevented him from finishing the race. Dani Holgado is in 14th in the standings with 48 points.

The 23-lap Moto3 Austrian Grand Prix will be held on Sunday at 11:00 AM local time. The last victory for Red Bull KTM Ajo at the track was with Pedro Acosta, last year at the Styrian Grand Prix.
