Collin Veijer undergoes successful surgery on right arm
22/05/2025The Red Bull KTM Ajo Moto2 rider suffered a crash when training on Monday in the Netherlands.
Collin Veijer underwent surgery on his right arm this Thursday, treating an injury suffered in a crash on Monday when training in the Netherlands. After undergoing further tests to determine the extent of the injury, it was decided that surgery was the best option.
The operation was carried out by Dr. Tjeerd de Jongat in the Isala Clinic, in Zwolle, (Netherlands). The Red Bull KTM Ajo Moto2 rider had suffered a radial shaft fracture, a fracture of the ulnar styloid process and a dislocation of the distal radioulnar joint, consistent with a Galeazzi fracture.
Veijer has already been discharged from hospital and is ready to start the recovery process. His progress will determine his return to action in the Moto2 World Championship.
