The rookie secures his second podium of the season, moving him into third place in the overall standings. Alvaro Carpe finishes sixth after fighting in the leading group.

Brian Uriarte achieved his second podium finish in the Moto3 World Championship at the Czech Grand Prix, fighting for the win at Brno until the end. Red Bull KTM Ajo Moto3 teammate, Alvaro Carpe, was also a contender for victory throughout the race, but a mistake with one lap to go relegated him to sixth place.

Extreme conditions continued in the Czech Republic for the Moto3 race, with an ambient temperature of 29°C and track temperature of 43°C.

Uriarte got off the line well from fourth place, and was able to keep up the pace with the leaders from the outset. At the head of a group of up to six riders, he pushed to reach second place going into the final lap, then took the lead at the start of the first sector. However, light contact with Maximo Quiles dropped him to fourth, forcing him to fight his way back to second in the final metres. Just 4 tenths of a second off the race winner, the rookie finished second for his second podium of the season. With 92 points, he moves into third place in the overall standings. Uriarte also extends his advantage in the Rookie of the Year ranking.

Carpe followed a similar script to his teammate, making a good start from third on the grid -having been promoted to the front row. After the first few laps, a tense battle ensued, including the Red Bull KTM Ajo rider making contact with a rival midway through the race. In the final third, the Spaniard remained cautious and tucked in at the back of the six-rider leading group to avoid any further problems. However, a small mistake on the penultimate lap dashed his podium hopes, forcing him to settle for sixth place. Carpe remains second in the overall standings with 121 points.

With their sixth podium of the season and a great end for a good weekend, Red Bull KTM Ajo Moto3 team now have 213 points in the Team standings, comfortably holding second place. They now move on to the second part of this double-header, the DutchGP, which will take place on the TT Assen in June 26-28th.
