Red Bull KTM Ajo Moto2 begin a third consecutive double-header in Europe at Brno before flying to Assen.

Red Bull KTM Ajo face another double-header from this week, which will take them to the Czech Republic and the Netherlands. The Automotodrom Brno is the first stop, with Collin Veijer and Jose Antonio Rueda aiming to push for points.

Veijer faces the CzechGP with the goal of preparing in the best way his home round, which will take place next week in the TT Assen. In the last race weekend, he suffered a crash on Sunday, when fighting for the Top 5. He remounted to take the chequered flag in last place, but showed a race pace on a par with those riders in the top positions. Before, he showed a great performance during the first two days at Balaton Park, classifying in 9^th. Now, eager to recover the regularity through the weekend, Veijer arrives in Brno, where he has positive memories from last season: It was there he achieved his first Q2 spot and came close to scoring his first Moto2 points, finishing 16th, and was just two seconds behind the race winner. Veijer is currently 12th in the 2026 overall standings with 36.5 points.

Rueda arrives to the Czech Republic in a great shape, after showing a big step in his adaptation to the Moto2 bike on the last rounds. In this way, he has finished in the points for three consecutive races, racking up points in Barcelona, Italy, and Hungary. Last time out, he narrowly missed out on the Top 10, placing 11th for his best result in the intermediate class to date. He has also made it into Q2 in two of the last three rounds, with Hungary being the first time he went directly into the session from Practice. At Brno, he has only raced once before, competing there in Moto3 and breaking away for a victory from second on the grid last year. Rueda is 18th in the overall standings with 13 points, and is the leader of the Rookie of the Year ranking.

Red Bull KTM Ajo have 49.5 points between their two riders, putting them in tenth position in the Team standings. In previous years, they have achieved two victories and one further podium finish at Brno. Johann Zarco (2015) and Miguel Oliveira (2018) were winners at the Czech circuit, with the latter also placing third the year before, in 2017.

The first session for the intermediate class will take place this Friday from 9:50 a.m. (local time). On Sunday, the Moto2 race will be held at 12:15 p.m. with 18 laps to go.
