Alvaro Carpe and Brian Uriarte visit MotorLand Aragon aiming to continue their good streak from recent races.

Alvaro Carpe and Brian Uriarte come back from a two-week break to race at MotorLand Aragon this week, as Red Bull KTM Ajo start officially the second half of the 2026 Moto3 season, which will finish the last weekend of November in Valencia.

Carpe has hit a great run of form, with a fifth podium finish of the season at the British Grand Prix. His hard-fought second place, taken on the final lap, puts him back into second place in the overall standings. Now comes a visit to MotorLand Aragon, where one year ago he celebrated his 18th birthday with a third-place finish. In 2024, Carpe achieved Pole Position and a victory in the Red Bull Rookies Cup there, in addition to another win in JuniorGP, shortly before becoming Champion in both series. He currently has 146 points in the Moto3 World Championship, and continues in the title chase.

Uriarte will be looking to recapture the form that included victories in Italy and Germany. At the British Grand Prix, the Red Bull KTM Ajo rookie showed great potential throughout the weekend, but crashed on the last lap whilst in second position and attempting to overtake the race leader. MotorLand Aragon is a track where he has great memories, with one win and three podium finishes in the four races he contested there as a Red Bull Rookies Cup rider, and a victory in JuniorGP. He is fourth in the overall standings with 127 points and still leads the rookies standings.

Approaching the thirteenth round of the 2026 season, Red Bull KTM Ajo have 273 points and remain second in the Team standings. At MotorLand, the structure have a victory through Miguel Oliveira (2015), second for Brad Binder (2016), and third places for Raul Fernandez (2020), Daniel Holgado (2022), and Carpe (2025).

Moto3 Free Practice 1 kicks off the action on Friday at 9:00 a.m. (local time). The Moto3 race will once again open Sunday at 11:00 a.m., consisting of 17 laps.

We’ve been able to rest and train well to arrive at 100%, so we’re ready to handle the heat and high temperatures as best as possible. I’m sure that if we start the weekend working well and taking solid steps, we can enjoy a great Grand Prix in front of our home fans.”

“I have very fond memories of MotorLand and experience in different other series there, which is the opposite of what we had at Silverstone. We’re coming off a great weekend in Great Britain, showing that our progress continues, so we’re going to try to take another step forward, this time in front of our home fans. We’re in a learning season and mistakes can happen, as happened in the race last time out, but the important thing is knowing how to correct them and gradually get stronger. We’ve trained a lot these past few weeks, and I’ve also turned 18, so we’re going to try to start the second half of the season in the best possible way.”
