The team’s current Moto2 lineup will be together again in the 2027 season. It will be the third year in the team for the Dutchman and the fifth for the Spaniard.

Collin Veijer and Jose Antonio Rueda will continue to form Red Bull KTM Ajo’s Moto2 rider lineup in 2027. After a positive year of growth, the Dutchman will embark on a third campaign with the Finnish structure in the intermediate class, whilst the Spaniard will face a second season in Moto2.

After adapting to the class in 2025, Veijer has taken a step up in 2026, regularly featuring amongst the Top 10. He has maintained a perfect record of direct spots in Q2 since the start of the season -a testament to his established presence in the category, despite being only 21 years old.

Veijer has taken two podiums this season, including at the most recent round of the season at Misano, and is in tenth place in the overall standings with 75.5 points. He has also claimed his first Moto2 pole position in 2026, becoming the first Dutch rider to achieve the feat in the last 35 years. Veijer had already secured his first Moto2 rostrum during his rookie campaign.

Rueda will be participating in his fifth season in the World Championship across all classes. All of these have been spent with Red Bull KTM Ajo, and as such he will join Brad Binder as the rider with the most consecutive seasons spent with the Finnish structure since their arrival in the paddock back in 2001.

The Spaniard came through as Red Bull Rookies Cup champion in 2022, going on to compete in three consecutive Moto3 seasons with Red Bull KTM Ajo. He claimed his first podium in 2023 (with 3rd place at the Catalan GP), his first victory in 2024 (at the Aragon GP), and the Moto3 title in 2025. The latter achievement, which included 10 wins, established him as one of the six most successful riders in the team’s history, just behind Johann Zarco, Pedro Acosta, Brad Binder, Miguel Oliveira, Marc Marquez, and Raul Fernandez.

Red Bull KTM Ajo retain the same rider lineup for a second year, continuing a commitment to the factory’s development program and the nurturing of young talent through the Red Bull Rookies Cup upwards. Veijer and Rueda continue a pairing of talents nurtured by the program, whilst in Moto3 the structure feature similar profiles in  Brian Uriarte and Rico Salmela. Consequently, with riders aged between 18 and 21, Red Bull KTM Ajo will once again boast an ‘all-homegrown’ lineup.

Since 2020, this program has helped eight riders develop the skills needed to secure a spot on the MotoGP™ grid, the most recent example being Pedro Acosta, who rode for Red Bull KTM Ajo for three years and just achieved last Sunday his first ever MotoGP victory in the Austrian Grand Prix.
