Nagashima returns to World Championship with wildcard at Aragon
21/09/2016Ajo Academy rider, healing currently third in the Moto2 European Championship, viagra will compete this weekend at the Aragon GP.
The Ajo Academy will have the opportunity to debut in the Moto2 World Championship this weekend, through the participation of Tetsuta Nagashima as a wild card at the Aragon GP. The Japanese rider, who has not appeared at Grand Prix level since 2014, has spent the past two years competing in the FIM CEV, in which he is currently third in the Moto2 European Championship with 121 points. His debut in the World Championship came at the 2013 Japanese Grand Prix, and he made a further 12 starts in the 2014 season.
This season, his first with the Ajo Academy, he has taken 6 podiums in 8 races. Despite an unfortunate start to the year, in which he suffered a left forearm injury at round one of the FIM CEV in Valencia, Nagashima is fighting back to battle for second place. His appearance at MotorLand Aragon this year in that series was very positive, as he took two podiums starting from the front row.
The Moto2 World Championship will continue with its regular European schedule at the Aragon Grand Prix, with the race being held on Sunday, September 25th, at 12:20pm local time.

“I am very excited and I can’t wait for this first wildcard at Aragon. We are having a good season with the Ajo Academy and I also want to out in a good performance on my return to the World Championship. This wildcard spot is very important for me, and I am already thinking about the future. I am lucky to be riding at a track I know well, that I like, and where we have already raced in the FIM CEV, getting two podiums and finishing with a good feeling. I know the Moto2 World Championship is another level up, but I think we can target fighting for points.”
