“The end of the day was a bit tough for us. On the last run I tried to push to the fullest and I was setting a good pace. However, on the last corner we had a small issue and I was not able to lower my time. Now we have to continue working ahead of tomorrow and improve some aspects. In any case, I am happy to be here at Mugello and I can’t wait to continue riding tomorrow.”

“The first day went well and I’m very happy. After the FP1, I felt some discomfort in my arm, but we were able to solve the problem and I felt strong in FP2. We have a good setup for the bike and that makes me feel confident for tomorrow. We will try to get a positive result in qualifying for Sunday’s grid. Other than that, I want to continue enjoying myself with the team, as having a great connection with them is important.”
