The Red Bull KTM Ajo Moto2 rider suffered a crash in training last Friday.

Deniz Öncü underwent successful surgery on his left hand this Monday, after suffering a crash last Friday when training in Turkey. After an initial evaluation, fractures were detected in his hand and wrist that required surgery. The operation was carried out by Dr. Özcan Koçanlı at the Antalya Lara Anatolia Hospital, confirming that the Moto2 rider suffered an intra-articular fracture of the left distal radius with comminution and left scaphoid. After being discharged on Tuesday, Deniz now faces a period of recovery to return to racing in the best conditions.
