Red Bull KTM Ajo rider operated on at Hospital Universitari Dexeus-Quiron to treat fractures to his right foot and left humerus.

Jorge Martin was successfully operated on this morning in Barcelona by Dr. Xavier Mir, Head of the MotoGP Medical Team, along with Dr. Eugenio Gimeno from Icatme and the team of surgeons at the Hospital Universitari Dexeus-Quiron.

This past Friday, on the first day of Moto2 World Championship testing at Jerez, Martin made a quick adaptation to his new class. However, the Red Bull KTM Ajo rider suffered a crash which injured his left humerus and right foot.

The operation lasted a total of two hours. The Spaniard will begin his rehabilitation process within four days, and his estimated recovery time is 4-6 weeks.
