Niki Tuuli determined to keep improving at Misano

The Avant Ajo MotoE rider returns to the San Marino track for the fourth and penultimate round of the FIM MotoE World Cup this weekend.

Avant Ajo MotoE’s demanding month of September continues and the calendar takes them back to the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli. The fourth round of the FIM MotoE World Cup will feature two races in the same weekend, for the first time this year. Niki Tuuli feels ready for the challenge and is eager to make the most of this new opportunity to take further steps forward.

The Finn returned to action last week after an injury to his right wrist and thus he concentrated on regaining confidence with his bike and improving his feeling. After a tough race, the Avant Ajo MotoE rider will seek to claim a better result at Misano this week in the double header event. To do this, he has already started working with his crew to analyse the data obtained from last weekend, to draw conclusions and apply them this time around.

Round 4 of the FIM MotoE World Cup will begin on Friday with two Free Practices, followed by E-Pole on Saturday morning. Race 1 will take place on the same day at 4:15 pm, while Race 2 will be held on Sunday at 10:05 am. Both contests will be run over a total of 7 laps.

“Last weekend I felt pretty good in practice, but we couldn’t carry that over to the race. It was a tough Sunday to manage, but now it’s time to focus on the next round of the championship. We are going to work hard to keep taking steps forward and leave Misano with a strong result. It’s positive to have two contests in a row, because if you have problems in the first one, it allows you to make changes for the second. In our case, we know what to do and, if we get it right, we can be up at the front.”
