Aki Ajo – Team Manager
“We are very happy to continue working with Hikari [Okubo] one more year in the FIM MotoE World Cup. Last year, he proved to be one of the riders with more chances to fight for the top positions, and he arrives with more experience this campaign. Time for practice is limited in this class, so it is important for us to keep the same rider. We are certain that Hikari’s analytic work ethic during the weekends will allow him to achieve good results. This will be the team’s fourth season in this Cup. Keeping the same staff for another year is crucial, as well as the same sponsors from last campaign. We hope that our experience will enable us to fight for great success.”

“I’m very happy to be continuing with Avant Ajo MotoE for my second season in the FIM MotoE World Cup. They are a great team, with very professional staff, so I am pleased.
The results were not what we expected last year, but we improved race after race, and in the final rounds we fought for the top positions. For this campaign, our goal will be, first of all, to fight to place on the podium and, if possible, for victories. Once we get that, we will try to get to the top of the standings. I am positive and I think we will be able to put in good performances this season.”
