Red Bull KTM Ajo Moto3 starts preparing for the 2035 season at the Circuito de Jerez – Angel Nieto.

The new Red Bull KTM Ajo Moto3 lineup have already started preparing for next season. Jose Antonio Rueda and Alvaro Carpe took their first steps for 2025 before the winter break this week, in a test from which both riders drew positive conclusions.

Rueda is looking ahead to what will be his third season with the team. The Red Bull KTM Ajo rider focused on finding a good feeling, rather than lowering his times. He only contested the second day of this private test, and completed a total of 106 laps -leaving the rider and the team very satisfied with the work done.

Alvaro Carpe rode on both days in Spain. The young newcomer, who already competed in his first race with the team at the last Grand Prix of the 2024 season, focused on continuing to get to know the team and adapting to the new bike. Carpe put in a total of 165 laps, with which he laid a good foundation for work that he will continue with in 2025.

Niklas Ajo – Racing Manager
“I think it has been a really positive test for both Moto2 and Moto3; especially for our rookies as they rode for two days. I think maybe the end of the season was a little bit difficult for José Antonio, but he was doing better. Here in Jerez he continued with the work done at the closing races of the season. Although we had some changes in the crew, it looks like both the team and rider are working very well together. Carpe will be our rookie rider in Moto3 next year and he was very steady during the whole test. He had already had a promising weekend in Barcelona, and he continued here with the new crew chief. He made progress with no mistakes. I think we can all be really happy about our performance at this test and we are looking forward to next year.”

#99 Jose Antonio Rueda
“We’ve done a lot of laps, and that means we tried a lot of things. I think it’s a very good thing for next year to have everything clearer. I’m happy. because we have drawn several conclusions. Above all it has been a test for trying many things out, rather than looking at the times. We know the things that work best for us, but also those that don’t, so it will be very useful for us in the races. There are still some things that are missing, but I think that by doing more in next year’s tests we will be able to continue getting better. I’m very happy and we are ending the year with a very good taste in our mouths.”

#83 Álvaro Carpe
“I feel very good after the first days of testing with the team. We have been trying a lot of new things on the bike and we have focused on finding what works for us to improve a little bit more with each lap. It has allowed us to clarify our ideas a little more, but we have taken a very positive first step. We are very happy and we are looking forward to the start of the season to see how far we can go.”
