Red Bull KTM Ajo and Avant celebrate their long history together ahead of the CatalanGP

On the eve of the Catalan Grand Prix, Red Bull KTM Ajo and Avant enjoyed a day together with riders and users of the mini loaders.

With the aim of further strengthening the alliance that has united them since 2008, Red Bull KTM Ajo and Avant enjoyed a day together at the headquarters of Riversa, Avant’s importer and distributor in Spain. ahead of the Catalan Grand Prix, which will take place this weekend at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

At a great moment for the team, with Jose Antonio Rueda’s consolidated lead in Moto3, as well as first place in the team standings, both wanted to celebrate a partnership that dates back all the way to 2008 season. In fact, such has been their professional success that in their first year of collaboration, Ajo Motorsport, with Avant Tecno, won the 125cc championship title with Mike Di Meglio. Only few years later in 2010 Ajo Motorsport Team and Avant enjoyed another World Championship title with one Marc Márquez. Since 2012 known as Red Bull KTM Ajo, the Team has had further success with the likes of Sandro Cortese, Brad Binder, Augusto Fernandez, Remy Gardner and Pedro Acosta, and others, always bringing joy, whether in 125cc class, or in Moto3 and Moto2, the categories in which it currently competes.

The Partnership of Avant Tecno and Ajo Motorsport has remained strong, whether under the name Ajo Motorsport, Avant Ajo or Red Bull KTM Ajo, including during the seasons when it participated in the MotoE World Championship for electric motorcycles between 2019 and 2022. In total Avant Tecno and Ajo Motorsport have achieved 15 Championship titles, 5 of which are Team Championships.

The day took place in two different forms. First, there was a photo shoot attended by José Antonio Rueda and Álvaro Carpe of the Moto3 Team, and Daniel Munoz standing in for the Team regular Deniz Öncü and Collin Veijer of the Moto2 Team, all four riders of the Red Bull KTM Ajo Teams. After the shoot, members of the team and the guests shared breakfast at the facilities of Riversa in Barcelona.

After almost two decades accompanying Red Bull KTM Ajo at the highest level of two-wheel speed competition, Avant continues in a strong partnership with the Finnish team, with which it has now achieved more than 100 victories and 200 podiums in the MotoGP World Championship.
